Conti Solar is building what it says will be Rhode Island’s largest solar installation to date.
Conti Solar is providing turnkey engineering, procurement and construction services for the 21.3 MW Gold Meadow Farms solar project, developed by Southern Sky Renewable Energy. Located in Cranston, the project will generate clean energy for the City of Providence.
The solar array spans over 100 acres of rocky terrain. With approximately 53,000 LG panels and 130 SunGrow string inverters, the project is expected to be completed in early 2019.
Gold Meadow Farms is one of over 45 MW of projects that Conti Solar is currently constructing in the Ocean State.
